Kamalini belongs to the Kolkata "Bhadralok" and is a versatile genius: she writes poetry, paints and is an excellent actress.
After debuting in movies with 'Phir Milenge', alongside Shilpa Shetty, Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, in 2004, she got her big break in Kamal Haasan's 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu' (2006). She went on to do movies like 'Happy Days', 'Jalsa' and 'Kutty Sranku'.
Now, Kamalini is one of the most sought after actresses down South.
